Original door seals used a plastic door insert with a metal wire imbedded into the seal. Replacements door seals use a plastic clip instead of the wire which will insert into the original plastic insert.

Note: TYPE 1 : 63 CLASSIC/ AMBASSADOR Some early 64 CLASSIC/ AMBASSADOR production runs have some smaller holes without the plastic inserts on the sides and plastic inserts on the bottom. USE DSR0131 for front and DSR0121 ONLY FOR THOSE.

TYPE 2 Uses Tubular clips and can be use on late 64 Classic/Ambassadors who have plastic inserts all around by removing them.

Alternate use of TYPE 2.  TYPE 2 can be used instead of TYPE 1 by removing all plastic inserts and drilling out the smaller holes to                                                                             match the large holes.
